Elder William Thompson
Evangel
Anointing: God given right to do something with the full backing of God.
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans that I have for you"
Even the enemy sees the plans God has for you. The problem is sometimes we don't see what we can do.
Q: When are we going to see what God has for us?
Three Steps to be plugged in
1. I have to commit my life by faith to Jesus Christ. After doing so you have the right to the resources of Christ.
2.Live within the boundary lines of God's Word.
3. Live within the resources for God's Will for your life. To commit my life to God's Will for my life means to depend upon God's resources to accomplish God's Will for your life.
Romans12:2
The bridge from where you are and Kingdom living is renewing of our minds. Until we are renewed by thw Word of God, we can't even understand the power of God.
If you want your life to change, you must change your response to the Word of God.
Matthew 13: 19-23
If you look at this as the stages of life (and not different people) you can consider the following:
1st stage is when one hears the word, but doesn't understand. At this stage a person doesn't understand how to practically apply the Word. You can't do what you don't understand. Matthew 13:19
2nd stage is when someone does the Word and it doesn't work so he or she stops. Matthew 13:20-1
3rd stage is when someone received the Word and attempts to mix it with the best of the world and still no results. Matthew 13:22
4th stage is when someone hears the Word, understands it. They recieve the Word and keep it. When you plug into the Word and abide in it, then you bare fruit.
2 kings 4:1-7
7 things to make the Word work when you go to church:
1. Always take notes
2. When you get home review those notes
3. Try to find one nugget of info from the notes that will stick with you
4. Compile a list of those nuggets
5. Meditate on those nuggest daily until the Holy Ghost speaks
6. Just do it!

Hey Ladies...
Just sharing a WORD, it was a good word... guess you had to be there to get the full effect. I know that work might keep you outta the church house on Sunday... but you still can get a piece of the word in ;-) Or you might just want a lil bit more! that's okay too!
*Disclaimer* I know this maybe a little all over the play... but you know how pastors are! LOL
Date: Sept 19, 2010
Speaker: Pastor Carmina Owens
Message: 'How L.O.W. can you go?'
Scripture(s): Joshua 17:16-18 and Judges 1: 1 and 19
At this point Joshua was placed in charge of the Israelites because Moses died. The Israelites were given land.. After the land was divided amongst the people; They complained that they only had one lot of land. And the land that they were given wasn't good enough. They were given a hill. The wanted the land in the valley (which was rich and fertile) but, they didn't want to conquer it because the inhabitants of the land were strong. Joshua told the people that they were strong and powerful too. And, would be given more land (the forest). Joshua told them to clear as much land as they wanted and it would be theirs to keep.
*they had to cut the forest down for it to be of use for them. Don't question another's gifts or talents. Some people have to work hard to get/keep their gifts. Be gracious and accept your lot.
fwd---> Judges 1:1 after Joshua had died... the people questioned "Who would fight the battle for them to get the forest land?" Keep in mind that Joshua already told the people that they were a strong and powerful people. And, they had what it took to overtake the land.
Judah was the person who helped the Israelites get the land. Judah means PRAISE... keep in mind that Judah was a man of action. Praise must be an action.
*If you call yourself praising and you're not 'moving'; are you really praising?
The Lord was with Judah because the Lord inhabits the praise of this people.
Judah's battle plan consisted of taking the people CENTER--> SOUTH --> NORTH --> CENTER.
If you read 2 chron 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Pastor Owens then used "land " as an analogy for the human body.
so to conquer the flesh...
1. HUMBLE yourself
2. Turn to GOD and PRAY
3. and Turn away from your wicked ways
Center = Heart (be sure to guard your heart with all diligence Proverbs 1:23)
South= womb, genitals, etc.. (deal with the issues in your lower regions... sexual promiscuity, homosexuality, etc. and women be careful what you "carry" in your womb)
North= Head (your thoughts... keep your mind stayed on him! You have to monitor the things that you hear...)
Center= Heart (praise)
fix your heart... deal with lower region issues... deal with your thoughts and then REjoice or praise again.
Judah went out he conquered the center land, then the southern land, then the northern land and went back to where he started and worshiped at the altar that was there and praised the Lord.
The people of Israel were hard headed... they didn't recognize their own strength and power (Joshua 16:17)... however God moved in spite of them...
So the question is how L.O.W. can you go?!?!?! (can you go down low... all da way to da flo!?!?! LOL)
L. (Lay aside every weight and sin) Hebrews 12:1
O. (Obedience) 2 Corinthians 4-6
W. (Worship) John 4: 23-24
Personal Note: when I heard the title I assumed the message would be about humbling yourself before the Lord... It was but that wasn't all. Humbling yourself before the Lord is some thing that I KEEP hearing... church after church... service after service. We can't allow pride to get in our way... we have to be Kingdom Chasers for GOD! Pride comes before the fall... The only fall we should be anticipating is to fall flat on our faces (literally or figuratively) for God. I know that young people typically have a problem with praising and worshipping God, but we have no problem dropping it like it's hot in the club. I admit that I don't have the best singing voice (it's actually awesome) but I sing along to Musiq, India, Jilly from Philly, etc. church hymns not so much. God is begging his people for PUBLIC PRAISE and ACKNOWLEDGEMENT! The question is, "are we willing to answer the call"? Anyway I love you ladies and hope that everything is going well.. TTYL
Sincerely,
Stimp

Scripture: Ephesians 6: 10-13
Date: March 14, 2010
Scripture: Ephesians 6: 10-13
- The whole Armor is everything that God has given us to fight the enemy.
- Have you been "enlisted" into the army? You can't be in the army if you don't enlist.
- If you enlist then you are qualified to put on the armor
- Don't "box" the devil (trying to knock him out)
- "Wrestle"him so that you may pin and hold him down ling enough for God to get there
- Strongholds aren't tangible, they are the things within (2 Corinthians 10:4)

Date- March 07, 2010
1. It is not us to lead our lives. Isiah 10:23; 1 Corinthians 2:9-10
2. Everyone is under a spirit. You can be led by 1 of 4 different spirits:
- You can SWITCH between these Spirits
- Natural Spirit (1 John 5:10)
- The Holy Spirit is your problem repairman (Genesis 3:13)
- The Holy Spirit is used to fulfill the promises of God in your life
- Man, Self-Centeredness. Being all about one's self.
- One person can even enter into the ministry for selfish reasons.
- Worldly. Driven by lust, pride. "the Pride of Life"
- Thinking that you can operate without God
- Rebellion
- God. Other-Centeredness. Always thinking about what you can do for others.
3. Sometimes you can be led by the Spirit of God and not know it.
4. The Holy Spirit can use leadership to lead you (Hebrews 13). Leadership--> pastors, parents, etc. "known as Apostolic Anointing"
5. The Holy Spirit will never lead you to act contrary to the Word of God. Sometimes zeal can be without knowledge.
6. Those who are spirit led are Sons of God.
7. You have to put sin to death so that the Son can live
8. Be governed by Him from inside out. Holy Ghost is upon you.
9. Intimate the lifestyle of Jesus Christ. He submitted to the anointing. He Submitted to timing (Romans 14:19).
10. Made for peace and edification of others.
